SATURDAY, MAY 4, 2024 - MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU
Ah, yes, Star Wars Day 2024.
In Star Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi tells Luke Skywalker, “May the Force be with you.” This is a form of blessing.
The phrase “May the Force be with you” is often used by Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars saga to invoke the power of “the Force” to protect people. The term “the Force” is taken from Arthur Lipsset’s 1963 short movie 21-87, but it connects with theology. For example, Obi-Wan Kenobi’s line to Luke Skywalker, “Remember, the Force will be with you always,” reflects Jesus’ comforting of his disciples, “And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).
George Lucas stated that the Force and the Jedi religion were based on all religions in the real world, including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Buddhism.
John 7:37-40
On the festival’s last and most incredible day, Jesus stood and roared, “Let anyone thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” By this, he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him would later receive. Until then, the Spirit had not been given since Jesus had not yet beenrified.
Rivers - not just a small creek or stream - but RIVERS of LIVING WATER will flow from YOU.
Do you have “the force” within you?
LOVE WINS
LOVE TRANSFORMS
RIVERS OF LIVING WATER DEEP WITHIN YOU
