I’ve appreciated many of the following quotes.  If all is going as planned, I had all my remaining teeth pulled yesterday in other to get teeth implants.  So, I wrote this in advance.  I hope you like it.’

You have to win it.” (Be ambitious - the turtle makes progress by sticking his head out!!  In the last week or so, I’ve “won” some different prizes - at least so the email ads tell me.  If it is too good to be true, it probably isn’t true))

“Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” (I have used this for many years - I have been enthusiastic!!!!  WOOO!!!)

“Life is a journey, not a destination.”  (every day is a journey, step-by-step we move forward)

“Be silly. Be honest. Be kind.” (I think I excell at this - especially on being silly.  I try to be silly when I’m at the nursing home.  The residents need some fun in their lives)

“You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late.”  (It was on my agenda many days to visit my sick friend in the nursing home - but I didn’t make it)

“The only way to have a friend is to be one.”  (YUP)

“Don’t be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.”  (Some lead to deadends - but now you know that is not the direction you need to go)

“The earth laughs in flowers.” (I smile at that one.  One of last weeks poem was on trees.  I think I will never see a poem as lovely as a tree)

 “A great man is always willing to be little.” (Humility is important)

 “Peace cannot be achieved through violence, it can only be attained through understanding.”  (I wish we all got that)

“To be great is to be misunderstood.”  (I met a friend at the community recreation center.  For months, we met and walked together.  She talked about her problems.  I suggested we go for coffee to talk, and she thought I was trying to date her.
