Q: Teacher: "Which Virginian wrote the Declaration of Independence?"
A: Student: "I think it was Thomas Jeffer's son."

When I was young, we had Lincoln's Birthday (February 12), and Washington's Birthday (February 22nd).  (Those are still on my calendar).  But to honor all of the United States Presidents - and to give government employees (and others) a three day weekend, Presidents Day was established in 1968.

I figure it must be difficult to be a United States President these days.  Media is always following him or her - and commentators are finding fault in whatever the president decides.

Funds for Ukraine?  Yes or No?  Then how much - too much money; not enough money.  Border politics - easy or tight? Human rights - LGBTQ, Abortion?  Gun control - Yes or No.

Enjoy your President's Day

1 Timothy 2:1-2 " I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
